Just how cool a question of interest for me as well. I low alch using all the explorer ring - but thats only because its free xp - but restricted to about 30 per day. However, I know there's a list of critters and drop stats if you wish to slay to get a stack of nats?
I train slayer and forget that which critter had the best nat drops. . I understand the roaches drop nats,but unless your into fighting a good deal then relying upon this for nat generation is powerful slow. On the other hand - the prices are very low on items today and runes are cheap to buy if you have the gp to but a mighty pile. I've only played since 08 and I believe that is the cheapest I've seen prices move. In the past I sold runes,but today I am burning them up as its not a large drop of cash to use the runes I possess. At this point anyhow - Though stuff changes... And I truly anticipate this newest idiotic upgrade to get figured out in our realm. Till then im off to knock a few gold loose out of the monsters butt. So here is how I'm fighting them: Lease - A sheet of food. Glarial's amulet so that I can go in the waterfall to fight them.
Up to now, it's working really good and that I just need to bank once I can't hold any further drops. You're seriously better off using a whip rather than Guthan's warfare asses. The damage per minute of this spear is awful, so just re-banking once you need to is quicker. Switch into a whip if you don't have to cure then. Simple to solve.
Helm: Full Slayer Helmet - While I'm not killing them to get a slayer task, the Full Slayer Helm supplies excellent defence to get a ranged helm, and gives a bonus to ranged attack, even when I do not receive the 15% incentive because it isn't a slayer job. I now have an offer in for an Armadyl Stole to substitute it, but it probably will not buy for just a tiny bit.
