Madden's impact safety players continue to increase each year due to their significance in the real world (e.g cornerbacks). This also comes during a time in which there are many young safeties making an impression, as evidenced by this year's Madden ratings.
Madden 22 ratings tracker - updated list of the best NFL players by position for 2022's release
EA Sports will slowly reveal player ratings for Madden NFL 22 as they are aired on different ESPN platforms. The Kickoff Special, which took place around 12:30pm on Sunday July 25 was the first step. ET on ESPN. The program revealed the initial rookie ratings as well as the ratings of random players.
Then, the individual groups of positions will be released before the complete list is finally announced. The ratings for players are expected to be similar as last year, assuming there aren't any changes to Madden 22.
EA Sports issues an initial rating launch. The ratings are adjusted throughout the year. Following the Super Bowl, the final ratings update is made. While the ratings may change between the close of the season to start of the new one, they're usually not dramatic.
