Valorant is the first shooter released by Riot Games. The official release of the game took place on June 2, 2020. Prior to that, closed beta testing took place for two months. Valorant is only available on PC.

Valorant has implemented a rating system. The minimum rank is iron. The maximum is the Radiant. To get his first rank, the player will have to play five calibration matches.
Six months after the release of Valorant, Riot Games announced its esports plans for the game. The developer's company introduced a three-stage system - Valorant Champions Tour. Valorant Challengers - regional qualifications for the next stage. Valorant Masters - competitions of the best regional teams for tickets to the final stage of the tournament. Valorant Champions is the main tournament of the year. The first such tournament will be held in November 2021.
